CHAPTER 4: "COLOR PALETTE"

The significance of colors in our clothes is quite awe-inspiring how a blend of pigments ,in turn, augments the fabric and gives it an identity. Choosing the right hues from natural sources is where our artisans put a lot of efforts. A combination of naturally found elements (hydrate of lime, natural gum, jaggery, turmeric powder, black stone, red stone, alum, alizarin) are used to create a few different basic colors, which are mixed together to make several varied colors.
